Port Fairy to Apollo Bay

April 10th
Weather beautiful! On the road again heading for Warrnambool.  On arrival we went straight to Flagstaff Hill, a pioneer village set up to reflect a coastal port in the 1870s which also includes a great shipwreck museum. Spent a couple of hours here, as we found it really fascinating and very well done.

We did have Apollo Bay in mind as our destination today however, so had to get moving.  Stopped at almost every lookout along this section of Great Ocean Road, that is until we got 'picturesque cliff and craggy rocks' scenery fatigue.  Mike created a few panoramas below!

More amazing coastline!

The 12 Apostles or what remains anyway!
Had a lunch stop in Port Campbell between lookouts.  Could not believe the large number of non-English speaking tourists we were keeping company with as we travelled along, particularly at the 12 Apostles.  As it started to get dark, dropped the camper at Merango before going a few kilometres into Apollo Bay to get groceries and check out the town.  Another great coastal holiday spot!  A really pleasant and warmish night.  We started to hear rain on the canvas as we went to sleep.
